Peugeot has transformed the E-3008 into a high-tech fastback SUV.
It will be available as fully electric and with hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) power trains according to market needs, with more details about the latter two available later, the brand says.
The revamped E-3008 will be based on the new STLA Medium platform from Stellantis.
“On the back of launching Peugeot’s first all-electric vehicles in the Australian market – the e-Partner Van and e-2008 SUV – we’re pleased to confirm the next-level E-3008, revealed globally, will launch in Australia,” says Peugeot Australia managing director Kate Gillis.
“Combined with the local introduction of the E-208, e-Expert and 408 PHEV in 2024, there is no doubt that Peugeot’s future is electrifying.”
Peugeot Australia is working closely with Stellantis to review launch timings and specification for the Australian market.
