
The Jowett Motor Group (JMG) will acquire Audi Centre Canberra and 4×4 Canberra Ineos Grenadier on October 1, 2024.
The acquisition will further expand JMG’s prestige operations in the nation’s capital, following the September 2 acquisition of the Canberra BMW group.
Audi Centre Canberra has been a family-owned business operated by Richard Rolfe Motors Pty Ltd for almost two decades.
Located at 132 Melrose Drive, Phillip, and 38 Parramatta Street, Phillip, JMG will
officially take all existing operations and acquire the property on October 1, 2024.

Jowett Motor Group (JMG) was founded by Jowett in 1995 with the Audi, Volkswagen and Subaru brands before opening Eastern Honda Doncaster in 2000, which remains today.
JMG has continued as a family-owned and operated business with its award-winning group of BMW and Honda dealerships across Victoria, South Australia and the Australian Capital Territory.
JMG is an established retail partner of Honda Australia and Chery Australia, operating three metro Honda Centres: Eastern Honda, Northern Honda, Brighton Honda Centre and Chery Doncaster. The JMG journey with Honda has been recognised by multiple National Dealer of the Year and Customer Excellence awards.
In 2013, JMG opened its first BMW dealership, Waverley BMW, and acquired South Yarra BMW in 2020. This was followed by the greenfield development of Berwick BMW, which opened in late 2020, and the recent introduction of Berwick MINI Garage.
In 2021, Glenelg BMW and MINI Garage, South Australia, opened. A complete redevelopment of the Glenelg site is underway and due for completion in the second half of 2025.
The fifth BMW dealership was Canberra BMW, MINI, and Motorrad in September 2024.
