The Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) has launched a user safety campaign for Side-by-Side vehicle users.
The FCAI and members BRP, Honda, Kawasaki, Polaris and Yamaha jointly commissioned the development and deployment of this multi-platform safety campaign, which began on October 21.
FCAI Chief Executive Tony Weber said the campaign would target the simple but vitally important steps and measures drivers should adopt when using these popular vehicles.
With safety messaging across a dedicated website, television commercials, and social media assets, the FCAI and its members want to ensure that the messaging and advice reach a broad audience.
Championed by the Off-Highway Vehicles Group within the FCAI, the campaign addresses the safe use of Side-by-Side vehicles and focuses on five critical areas:
- Always wear a helmet;
- Use nets and doors properly;
- Wear your seat belt;
- Don’t overload your Side-by-Side;
- Ride to conditions.
