Pickles motor vehicles general manager Brendon Green is set to provide an insight on the used car market for the next 12 months at a forum hosted in Adelaide by the Australasian Fleet Management Association (AfMA).

His used vehicle market presentation will form part of the AfMA South Australian professional development forum taking place on August 21 from 12pm to 2pm in the U City function centre in Adelaide.

AfMA says the used car market has changed significantly over the past 3 years, and after peaking in 2022 Green will provide insights into where the market is now and what can be expected over the next 12 months across light commercial, SUV and passenger vehicles.

Moving beyond the vehicle segments, it says Green will breakdown used car price movements across the various fuel types from diesel to electric and what lies ahead. As Australia approaches a challenging economic outlook, he will review the projected effects on the used car market.

According to AfMA, Green joined Pickles in 1997 and was appointed to his current role in February 2014.

It says he is responsible for the entire motor vehicle division which includes government, fleet, repossessed, OEM, Corporate and not for profit customers. Pickles motor division grossed more than $1.4 billion in vehicle sales in the last financial year.

In addition, Green has been heavily involved in Pickles guaranteed future value service since the early 2000’s. He works closely with Pickles data analytics business (Datium Insights) to deliver key used vehicle market updates on a regular basis.
