Honda Australia has confirmed retail pricing for the all-new sixth-generation CR-V which will offer seven variants from launch including, for the first time in the range, an e:HEV hybrid model.

It says Honda Centres are now taking customer deposits for CR-V orders, ahead of the September 1 on-sale date.

With families in mind, the all-new CR-V has been designed to deliver greater space and passenger comfort says Honda Australia.

The seven variants available from launch will be VTi X, VTi X7, VTi L, VTi L7, VTi L AWD, VTi LX AWD and e:HEV RS.

The e:HEV RS wears an exclusive sporty design from front to back, including a distinctively styled body coloured front and rear bumpers, black front grille with RS emblem and black leather appointed seat trim with red stitching. Customers also have a choice of 5 and 7 seating, 2WD and AWD across the line up, and the e:HEV hybrid variant.

“For the first time in Australia, we will be launching the new CR-V with an e:HEV Hybrid powertrain which has become increasingly popular across the Accord, Civic, Honda ZR-V and HR-V ranges,” Honda Australia director Carolyn McMahon says.

The Honda CR-V offers a 1.5 litre direct injection VTEC turbocharged engine for the petrol variants, and a two-motor hybrid system for the e:HEV RS. Fuel economy, driving performance and environmental output have been significantly enhanced to amplify Honda’s vision to ‘lead the advancement of mobility’.

“Honda Australia is extremely excited to be launching the all-new CR-V to the Australian market, as this vehicle has been a consumer favourite since its first introduction 26 years ago,” McMahon says.

“This next generation CR-V has evolved with family needs and offers everything our customers love about the outgoing model and more. Including increased cabin space, five and seven seating options, 2WD and AWD drive systems and appealing drivability across the range.

“The core Honda CR-V values are embedded into its DNA, such as the eye point and driving position to provide greater visibility for city driving and winding roads and hip point to make it easy to get in and out of the car,” she says.

It comes with Honda’s standard five-year unlimited km warranty, five-year premium roadside assist, five low price services as well as Honda’s One Price Promise.
