While not yet two years old, Cupra Australia’s presence continues to grow, with some of the nation’s larger automotive retail groups investing in the brand from Barcelona.

The opening of the Macarthur Garage pop-up later this month will take the total tally of active Cupra Australia locations to 12 sales and 13 service sites in all states except NT.

Queensland’s third sales and service centre, Cupra Brisbane (74-76 McLachlan Street, Fortitude Valley, QLD, 4006), celebrated its launch event on April 6, joining Cupra Indooroopilly and Cupra Gold Coast.

New service centres have also opened to support Cupra Brisbane and Cupra Gold Coast.

In NSW, Cupra Macarthur will launch its Service centre (12-18 Dunn Rd, Smeaton Grange, NSW, 2567) in April, ahead of a pop-up Sales location later this year and a permanent Garage opening in 2025.

Cupra Central Coast’s new service centre is now open.

In Victoria, the Cupra Tullamarine Sales and Service pop-up opens in April.

Cupra Australia Director Ben Wilks says the brand is committed to expanding its footprint across Australia.

“As a young brand which has just sold its 5000th car in this country, one of our primary objectives is giving our customers confidence,” he said. “We’ve been aggressive in our expansion plan and will continue to be to support that goal. Our cars are made for driving, so we want to enable Cupra owners to get out there and do just that.”

“We’ve seen some of the biggest names in Australian automotive, like Alto Group, Eagers Automotive, and Zagame Automotive Group, get behind Cupra with multiple locations. We’re looking forward to working with some of the best in the business to drive the brand forward in Australia,” says Wilks.
