ADomino Pizza Enterprises (Dominos) has announced a new pizza delivery vehicle with partner Benzina Zero after successfully trialling its V-50 seated e-scooter within several stores.

Adding the Benzina Zero V-50 to the fleet will further enhance Domino’s goal to be the most sustainable food delivery business from its 3700 stores across 12 markets.

The V-50 is classified as an e-scooter or personal mobility device (PMD) with a seat position that provides safe, comfortable usage for all operators. It also includes a delivery package with a bespoke 90L pizza box, giving utility whilst enhancing a low centre of gravity.

“By utilising the Benzina Zero’s V-50 e-scooter, we are not only able to deliver our pizza more sustainably, but we are also able to provide additional efficiencies and cost reductions to our franchise partners”, says Angela Richardson, Domino’s Partnership Systems Manager.

“Our partnership with Benzina Zero has continued to expand to a range of quality delivery vehicles, including e-bikes, e-mopeds and now e-scooters, allowing our franchise partners to deliver hotter, fresher pizza faster,” she says.

“We are thrilled to receive the approval for the V-50 from Domino’s, and we have strengthened our partnership to assist DPE in achieving its goals for the last mile sustainability”, says Ben Silver, Chief Plugger Inner at Benzina Zero Australia.

“The V-50 is the safest e-scooter in Australia due to its dedicated seated design and Magnesium alloy construction, which provides the best balance for weight and strength. It is the most compact delivery vehicle on the market and has the benefit of a super-fast battery swap-and-go capability.

“By utilising new forms of electric mobility like the V-50 alongside our existing B2B product suite, we can solve the challenges for last-mile delivery; we look forward to supporting Domino’s throughout the entire network,” he says.
