The Ford Motor Company has announced it will reveal the next-generation Ranger ute on November 24.
The US-based global manufacturer says the next-generation Ranger will be sold in more than 180 markets.
As such The Ford Motor Company conducted more than 5000 interviews with customers to find out what they liked and what they didn’t about their current vehicles and their future wish list.
Chief designer Ford Ranger Max Tran says the insights gained from thousands of owners around the world influenced the design of the vehicle and many of its features.
“As designers, we engaged with customers much earlier in the process, spent more time with them and got more insights than ever before,” Tran says.
“Interestingly, we found that no matter what market, our customers are doers. They like solving their own problems, and they like to feel confident in their vehicle … not just the way the vehicle functions but the way they feel when they’re driving it,” he says.
