Bridgestone’s network across Australia and New Zealand has won Gold in the Quality Service Awards.

Bridgestone has been judged the top tyre retailer in Australia and New Zealand taking the gold award for both countries in the annual Reader’s DigestQuality Service Awards.

It’s the third consecutive award win for the New Zealand Bridgestone Select and Tyre Centres network, while Australia’s Bridgestone Select network claimed the title for the second time in four years.

The annual quality service awards are conducted by independent firm, Catalyst, and saw a sample of 2500 Australians and 2163 New Zealanders surveyed across 35 categories, with Bridgestone stores awarded Gold in the tyre retailer category across both countries.

According to Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand Managing Director, Stephen Roche, the success for Bridgestone on both sides of the Tasman highlights the company’s commitment to providing value to customers through class-leading service.

“The customer has always been a priority for Bridgestone and winning the Reader’s DigestQuality Service in both markets highlights the effort our network puts into customer satisfaction and the unified approach we take across Australia and New Zealand,” Roche says.

“We’re honoured to win this award. Continuous improvement and strength in customer centricity are key to Bridgestone’s successful strategy, and the Quality Service Award recognises our commitment to caring for our customers,” he says.

The quality service awards see consumers rate their experiences with retailers across five key criteria: personalisation, understanding, simplicity, satisfaction and consistency.

Bridgestone says its continued success in the quality service award complements the brand’s status as Australia and New Zealand’s Most Trusted Tyre Brand, as voted by motorists in the annual Reader’s DigestMost Trusted Brands survey.

“Our goal is to make your experience simple, hassle free and provide you with peace of mind every step of the way – and we’re glad to be living up to this promise,” Roche says.

“Bridgestone has earned the trust of motorists not just for our quality range of tyres, but also for our award-winning service,” he says.

This is the second customer service award the Bridgestone’s Australian network has taken out this year, having also won the title for ‘Most Satisfied Customers’ Title for car tyre retailers in the 2021 Canstar Blue rankings.
