E-mobility brands Polestar and CAKE have revealed a second limited Polestar edition of the electric moped Makka.

It’s in the sky colour first shown on the Polestar electric roadster concept.

The first edition of the CAKE Makka Polestar edition, in Polestar Snow matte colour, launched in 2021 and instantly sold out.

The Polestar edition includes a slim headlight and dampers from high-end suspension company Öhlins. The new edition also adds a detachable rear carrier to use for improved cargo carrying, adaptable for configurations like boxes, racks, passenger seats and more, making the electric commuter even more flexible.

It has a 45km/h top speed and two ride modes for extended range or balanced performance.

The Makka is sold and delivered by CAKE but the Polestar edition is available exclusively to selected Polestar markets via the Polestar Additionals webshop now, mainly in Europe and the US with other Polestar markets yet to be confirmed.

The e-moped is being sold overseas for 5300 Euro (about A$8234).

From 2022, Polestar plans to launch one new EV annually, starting with the Polestar 3 performance SUV launched in October with the smaller SUV coupe Polestar 4 expected to follow in 2023.
