The Ford Ranger Plug-In Hybrid will be shown publicly for the first time in Australia this week alongside the fully electric E-Transit Custom.

Both electrified commercial vehicles will be displayed at the Melbourne Mobility Live event, which will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 30 to 31.

Mobility Live is a free event for governments and fleets to view the future of electric commercial vehicles.

The Ford Ranger PHEV will debut as the limited-edition Stormtrak variant, sporting its new exclusive Chill Grey exterior colour.

“It’s essential that fleets wanting to decarbonise have access to vehicles that allow them to continue doing their work without compromising,” says Myles Hartley, General Manager of Electric Vehicles, Ford Australia.

“Both the Ranger PHEV and E-Transit Custom have all the capability that makes their nameplates legendary worldwide, with the added benefit of an electrified powertrain.”

Both the Ford Ranger PHEV and E-Transit Custom will go on sale in Australia in 2025 and will next be available to view when they are on display at the Sydney International EV show on November 8-10.
