Isuzu Ute Australia (IUA) has set November 1, 2024, as the unveiling date of its locally redesigned and remanufactured off-road-focused ute, the D-Max Blade.
IUA’s deputy managing director, Koichiro Yoshida, confirmed the D-Max Blade was re-engineered for local Australian conditions in partnership with Walkinshaw Automotive Group in Melbourne.
“For as long as I can remember, customers and the media have asked about a higher-spec, off-road ready ute to rival the competition, something competent, without compromise,” Yoshida says.
“I hope they’re ready for the answer—the D-Max Blade has been developed specifically for those Australians who like to go their own way,” he says.
IUA’s 15-second teaser video shares glimpses of everyday Australians from all walks of life. It asks, ‘Are you ready?’ before answering with a shrouded glance at the upcoming D-Max Blade.
The Japanese marque will reveal the full details of the D-Max Blade on November 1, ahead of local deliveries soon after.
