Geely Holdings’ commercial vehicle brand Farizon has its electric “SuperVan” approved for Australian roads.
The Farizon SuperVan is expected soon in the Australian market.
It’s likely to have a 2000kg braked towing capacity and be listed as a “goods vehicle”, says The Driven.io.
The SuperVan was earlier reported being tested in Australia, indicating it will be sold there.
Will Knott posted on Facebook that the Farizon SuperVan has Australian Design Rules (ADR) approval with 10 different model variations and a few different wheelbase options as well as low or high roof versions, with rear glass and without.
It’s expected to have an 82kWh battery.
“These particular vans will be of interest to people wanting campervans due to the unique construction that allows for very low load floor height and no ‘B’ pillar between the driver’s door and the cargo door,” says the post.
