Pricing and specs have been announced for the Chery Tiggo 7 Pro coming to Australia in Q4.

The five-seat family-focused SUV will arrive in three grades, with drive-away pricing from $39,990.

A 1.6-litre Euro VI-compliant turbo-petrol engine Euro VI-compliant delivers 137kW power at 5500rpm and 275Nm torque at 2000rpm, partnered with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Premium features are offered across the range.

Chery’s new mid-size SUV comes to Australia in “Urban”, “Elite” and “Ultimate AWD” grades.

The Urban trim arrives with features including twin 12.3-inch screens, seat heating, a panoramic sunroof and ambient interior lighting.

“The Tiggo 7 Pro is an effortlessly impressive vehicle that combines style, space, and safety to deliver a medium SUV that will prove the perfect fit for Australian families,” says Chery Australia managing director Andy Zhang.

The Urban also has LED exterior lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels and a full-size spare, eight air bags, 18 advanced driver aid systems, dual-zone automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, an eight-speaker Sony sound system, GPS satellite navigation, and intelligent voice command.

The Elite is $41,990 drive-away and includes a 360-degree camera, auto-folding mirrors, a power tailgate, an air quality management system, negative ion air freshener, and a cargo blind.

The Ultimate AWD is $45,990 drive-away and comes with 19-inch alloy wheels, six drive modes (Eco/Sport/Normal/Snow/Mud/Off-road), memory mirrors and memory driver’s seat, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and ventilated front seats.

Fuel use is 7.0L/100km and produces CO2 of 163g/km on the combined cycle.

The Tiggo 7 Pro is 4513mm long, 1862mm wide and 1696mm high, combining with a 2670mm wheelbase to make for easy city manoeuvring without sacrificing interior space for passengers or cargo (626 litres luggage space, or 1672 litres with rear seats folded flat).

Chery’s “Diamond” and “Crystal” design language is included and the Tiggo 7 Pro has the latest safety features and technology, all backed with Chery’s seven-year unlimited kilometre warranty, seven-year capped price servicing and up to seven years roadside assistance.

Pre-sales start September 20 and the first 500 customers who place an order with a Chery retailer during the pre-sales phase (Sept 20-October 20, 2023) will receive free scheduled servicing for three years/30,000km.
