The CATL Tectrans – T is a battery developed for heavy-duty trucks with a lifespan of 2.8 million km, capable of recharging to 70% in 15 minutes, and the top trim has a capacity of 600kWh.
CATL revealed the new battery at IAA Transportation in Messe Hannover, Germany (September 17-22), CarNewsChina reports.
Meanwhile, a Hyundai Mighty seven-tonne electric truck is doing a lap of Australia, The Driven says.
The e-truck left on September 5 at Jon Edwards’ workshop in O’Connor, Western Australia, and is now in Queensland.
