BMW says it is supporting EV uptake across Australia and New Zealand with incentives on home charging and finance packages.

Many benefits are available with the purchase of new BMW iX3 and iX xDrive40 models to elevate the ownership experience of new generation EVs, it adds.

For Australian customers the incentives feature a ‘Power Pack’ offer which includes a complimentary BMW Wallbox, six-year complimentary BMW Service Inclusive package and a $5000 trade-in bonus.

Australian BMW EV buyers also get a five-year subscription to Chargefox, a five-year new car warranty and three years roadside assistance.

In New Zealand, a complimentary BMW Wallbox is offered upon the purchase of any fully electric BMW, When Kiwi customers get a BMW iX3 and iX xDrive40 with Power Pack through the BMW Full Circle plan, buyers receive a $1500 BMW Wallbox installation subsidy and a $5000 trade-in bonus.

The support comes as BMW continues to grow its EV footprint and electrified sales volume.

Earlier this year the brand introduced the fully electric BMW i7 while the first iX1 has gone on sale in New Zealand and is due soon in Australia.

Registrations of electrified BMW models in Australia between January and April were up 50% on last year and fully electric BMW registrations were double that of 2022.

In New Zealand, electrified BMW registrations were up 110% to the end of April.
