Cheaper new Tesla Model 3 and Model Y EVs are on the way for Australia.
Tesla has announced new prices – already evident in New Zealand – and released Tesla product incentives available to Australians.
“Production is ramping up quickly, helping us make our vehicles more affordable,” Tesla Australia explains.
“Starting today (January 11), you can now order Model 3 and Model Y with adjusted pricing for the new year.”
The new prices are reportedly set at $63,900 for the Model 3 RWD (down 2.4%), $76,900 for the Model 3 LR (3.9% lower) and $89,900 for the Model 3 Performance (1.9% drop).
For the Model Y, the new price for the RWD is reportedly $68,900, and $94,900 for the Performance due soon, both down about 2.4%.
Wait times are also down at around four months for most – the EVs mainly coming from the Shanghai giga factory.
