The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) has appointed two new board directors, replacing another two who are retiring after many years of service.
Glareh Kayhoor and Dale Durden were officially introduced as directors during the AAAA’s 44th annual general meeting on October 21 in Sydney.
Kayhoor is the general manager of aftermarket at Hella Australia, and Durden is the general manager of sales and branch operations at CoolDrive Auto Parts.

With 23 years of experience in the automotive industry, Kayhoor has excelled in quality systems, operations, and product management. She holds an MBA from Monash University, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Directors and has management experience with Ernst & Young and Bapcor. She now leads the aftermarket division at Hella Australia.

Durden brings 30 years of experience to the AAAA Board, having worked in sales, supply, and distribution throughout the automotive aftermarket. Holding an MBA, his strong leadership and passion for supporting independent workshops have made him a key figure in the sector.

Kayhoor and Durden join a group of automotive leaders responsible for steering the strategic direction of the AAAA and the broader aftermarket industry.
“We are delighted to welcome Glareh and Dale to the AAAA Board. Both bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for the industry, and I am confident they will provide fresh insights and perspectives as we continue to navigate the evolving landscape of our sector,” AAAA chief executive Stuart Charity says.
At the same meeting, current AAAA Board member Mike Carnemolla was re-elected for another three-year term. The Board also bid farewell to Peter Rogers from Repco Authorised Service and Darren Robinson from Hella, who retired after many years of service.
“We sincerely thank Peter and Darren for their significant contributions. Their wisdom and strategic insight have been invaluable, and we wish them all the best in their future endeavours,” Charity says.
“I look forward to continuing our work with the Board to ensure our thriving aftermarket industry’s ongoing health and prosperity. Our priority remains delivering exceptional value to our members, helping them grow and succeed,” he says
