The Australian Automotive Dealer Association chief executive James Voortman opened the 2022 AADA Expo and Convention in Brisbane with an update to the membership on the policy and advocacy work the association has done in for the past twelve months.

Today’s general session will focus upon two presentations and panel session moderated by Switzer.
Profit in Focus with Deloitte
Deloitte Motor Industry Services’ Profit Focus platform is an independent analysis of the state of the retail motor industry. Deloitte partners Lee Peters and Dale McCauley will share their insight on how using the Profit Focus online platform, Deloitte take raw data and turn it into information dealers can use in business every day.
By monitoring performance in a way that is consistent with thousands of other Dealerships in the Profit Focus database, dealers can use the power of data to objectively assess operations and track down the opportunities dealers might be missing out on across all areas of their business.
Digital Strategy Essentials with carsales
Michael Holmes, Executive Director, Dealer at carsales, and Ren Blanning, Head of Executive Business at carsales, will share the key digital metric markers that lead to sales success, the practical steps dealers can take to exceed traditional benchmarks, and what drives high performance dealerships in the digital world.

Holmes and Blanning will outline what has changed about how customers research and buy, and what Dealers must do in response.
