Mahindra Australia has doubled the size of its parts warehouse by opening a new facility in Willawong, QLD, as the brand believes it will have more than 65 operational dealerships by Christmas.
It says the new facility at 123 Gardens Drive, Willawong, QLD, will facilitate further network growth and enhance after-sales service as more vehicles are introduced to the market.
The brand says Australia is central to its “Go Global” vision and will play an important role in broadening its reach internationally.
Mahindra Australia says the successful launches of the XUV700 and Scorpio SUVs have cemented it’s growing impact on the Australian market. It says these introductions, coupled with a rising demand for the existing pickup line, confirm a positive growth trajectory.
In sync with this growth, Mahindra Australia says it has amplified its dealer network. This targeted expansion meets rising customer demand and reflects Mahindra’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional products and services.
“With the expansion of our dealer network well underway and expected to exceed 65 dealers nationally by Christmas, we needed a bigger warehouse to support our customers and our dealers,” Mahindra Australia automotive business head Russel Thiele says.
Mahindra Australia says the new parts centre significantly elevates the brand’s operational capabilities.
It has more than 2000 additional product lines, primarily to support Mahindra’s XUV700 and Scorpio SUVs. This added parts capacity also streamlines the introduction of future vehicle models according to the distributor.
The centre aims to reduce turnaround times through fast, reliable parts support, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience according to Mahindra Australia.
“It’s an extremely important milestone in our journey in Australia for the brand,” Mahindra Australia national manager Ankit Taneja says.
We are well equipped with over 7000-part lines which are readily available to serve our consumers. I am extremely thankful to our team to pull this project expansion together in such a short timeframe,” he says.
