The 2024 model year Jaguar I-Pace R-Dynamic, priced from $148,800 plus on-road costs, is due for Australian deliveries to start in July this year.

The two-model range now comprises the R-Dynamic SE and R-Dynamic HSE, at a suggested retail price of $148,800 and $165,600 plus on-road costs respectively.

The updated I-Pace with 90kWh battery has an estimated 446km range (NEDC) and a charging time (0-100%) of 8.6 hours from an 11kW AC wall box and three-phase electricity supply.

Performance is rated at 294kW, 696Nm torque and intelligent all-wheel drive enabling the sprint from zero to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds and a 200km/h top speed.

“Looking to the future we’re applying the know-how from our electrified vehicle programmes and accelerated technological development enabled by our collaborative partnership with the Jaguar TCS Racing Team to reimagine Jaguar as an all-electric modern luxury brand from 2025,” says vehicle programmes executive director Nick Collins.

A ”more distinctive design” includes a new grille, Atlas Grey front aperture blades and body-colour door finishers and rear diffuser.

The Black Exterior Pack is now standard on both models, as are diamond-turned wheels, and there’s a new Satin Grey finish for the 22-inch Style 5069 design wheels which feature carbon fibre inserts.

A satin finish is available for Eiger Grey and new Carpathian Grey metallic paints.

Its Pivi Pro infotainment system is standard, with integrated Alexa voice control and What3words navigation as well as with wireless Apple CarPlay and Wireless Android Auto.

Over-the-air updates apply, with more to come.

A contrast panoramic roof option applies, which for the first time enables customers to specify a black finish for the rear section of the roof – until now body-coloured – to complement the sweeping glass panel.

Preconditioning ensures that while the vehicle is plugged in it automatically heats or cools the battery to its ideal temperature and does the same for the interior.
