The inaugural Ferrari Concorso d’Eleganza Sydney will celebrate and foster the local passion for Enzo Ferrari’s legacy in late November.

The event will take place over three days, from Friday, November 29, to Sunday, December 1, 2024, in Palm Beach, NSW.

More than 50 Ferrari vehicles will gather at the Palm Beach Golf Club, showcasing a cross-section of the brand’s back catalogue and celebrating milestones for some.

Open to Ferrari clients and members of the public, the event promises a family-friendly atmosphere. Children under 14 enter free with a ticketholder, while those under 25 are eligible for concession entry.

The Concorso d’Eleganza format includes competitive judging by an independent panel of experts endorsed by Cavallino, Inc. Following evaluation, honours are awarded to the leading vehicles within each category.

  1. Supercars – open to GTO, F40, F50 and Enzo. LaFerrari, as a ‘young timer’, will be accepted for non-competitive display
  2. V8 – open to all Ferrari V8 models up to the 360 Modena
  3. V12 – open to all Ferrari V12 models up to the 550 Maranello
  4.  Limited Series – open to 550 Barchetta Pininfarina, 575 SuperAmerica, 348 GTC and 360 Challenge Stradale
  5.  Testarossa – a special class celebrating the model’s 40th anniversary, open to all variants of Testarossa, including the 512TR and 512M

Two further categories showcasing modern cars will also be displayed.

  1. Icona – open to Monza SP1/SP2 and Daytona SP3
  2. Special and Limited Series – open to limited production Ferrari models such as the 430 Scuderia, 458 Speciale, 488 Pista, 599 GTO, F12 TdF, 812 Competizione and more

Modern entries are eligible to win People’s Choice honours, as they are yet to fall within the age bracket for Concorso judging. Further special prizes will also be presented.

The same rigorous criteria applied since 1992 at Cavallino Classic events in Florida, Modena, and Abu Dhabi will be implemented in Australia to evaluate the cars entered.

Cars scoring at least 97 out of 100 points in Concorso judging are acknowledged with a Platinum Award. From those, class winners and a coveted Best of Show are selected. All award winners will be recognised at a special presentation dinner on Saturday evening.

During the weekend, various activities and entertainment will take place around the vehicle displays for the enjoyment of those attending. A selection of Sydney’s most celebrated food and beverage names will also be on hand to fuel all visitors.

Special guests even have the option to fly to the location by seaplane, capitalising on an opportunity to enjoy scenic views of Sydney Harbour and the northern beaches before landing directly at a Casa Ferrari hospitality venue neighbouring the Golf Club.

“We are thrilled to introduce Ferrari Concorso d’Eleganza Sydney for the Ferrari community in our region,” said Jan Hendrik Voss, President of Ferrari Australasia.

“Its position late in the calendar and the relaxed setting of Palm Beach make this a perfect moment for us to gather with clients and fans and celebrate another exciting year together, surrounded by some of this region’s finest Ferrari vehicles.”

Tickets for Ferrari Concorso d’Eleganza Sydney are available now via Cavallino.com.

Owners seeking to enter a vehicle are encouraged to speak to their Official Ferrari Dealer.
