Sustainable Canberra Expo will showcase Hyundai’s electrified line-up on November 2 with Hyundai Motor Company Australia as a major sponsor.

Free entry to the expo in two pavilions (Budawang and Coorong) at Exhibition Park includes an opportunity to test drive the Hyundai EV range in partnership with Australian Capital Territory (ACT) dealerships National Capital Motors and Lennock Hyundai.

About 60 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors are expected.

Hyundai’s Future Mobility Plans will be among more than 25 presentations.

“We are thrilled to support Sustainable Canberra Expo 2024 as a major event sponsor,” says Hyundai Motor Company Australia chief executive Ted Lee.

“Sustainable Canberra Expo is a fantastic platform to highlight Hyundai’s continuing leadership and innovation in bringing sustainable mobility solutions to market.

“With our event partners, National Capital Motors and Lennock Hyundai, we look forward to welcoming guests for EV test drives, whether they’re EV-curious, or ready to make a Hyundai hybrid or electric vehicle part of their sustainable lifestyle.”

The Hyundai exhibits will be powered by vehicle-to-load (V2L) and present a range of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs) and EVs:

These include the Hyundai i30 Sedan Hybrid, i30 Hatch Mild Hybrid, Tucson Hybrid, Santa Fe Hybrid, Kona Hybrid, Kona Electric, Ioniq 5, Ioniq 5 N, Ioniq 6, and the Mighty Electric Truck.

The Hyundai Ioniq range and Kona Electric are also in the EV test drives, facilitated by the NRMA.

The ACT Government exhibit features the Kona Electric, Ioniq 5 and the hydrogen fuel cell Nexo, 20 of which play a key zero-emission role on the ACT Government fleet.

Hyundai is offering two years’ free servicing on all hybrid models for customers (non-fleet), who place orders at the expo or purchase a vehicle post-expo from National Capital Motors or Lennock Hyundai. Click here for more Canberra expo information
