Hyundai Motor Company Australia is launching an in-house certified used-vehicle program, Hyundai Promise.

To be eligible for Hyundai Promise, used Hyundai vehicles must meet age and odometer criteria and have a complete Hyundai dealer service history.

Eligible vehicles must then meet the rigorous standards of a digital 118-point inspection by a factory-trained technician to be certified and enrolled into the Hyundai Promise program.

Hyundai Promise Certified vehicles also give customers the benefits of an extra year of factory warranty cover and an additional year of premium roadside Support.

“We are excited to announce our first-ever Certified Pre-Owned vehicle program in the form of Hyundai Promise,” Hyundai Motor Company Australia chief executive Ted Lee says.

“Hyundai Promise mirrors the experience of buying a brand-new Hyundai by bringing protection and peace of mind to the purchase of high-quality Certified Pre-Owned vehicles,” he says.

To achieve Hyundai Promise certification, a vehicle must:

  • Have travelled less than 120,000km
  • Have a complete Hyundai dealer service history
  • Pass a 118-point inspection (& have two keys)
  • Pass a system check using Digital PDI

To maintain the additional factory warranty and premium roadside support that comes as part of the Hyundai Promise program, owners must complete their Hyundai’s 60-month scheduled service within the Hyundai dealer service network.

Customers can search for Hyundai Promise-certified vehicles via a new online portal containing an up-to-date list of vehicle stock availability nationally.
