General Motors Speciality Vehicles (GMSV) is celebrating the ten thousandth Silverado to come off the remanufacture line and into the hands of an Australian customer.

The vehicle, a MY24 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD in Slate Grey, was presented to its new owner, Joseph Vrapcenjak, as its remanufacture was completed at the stand-alone GMSV facility in Dandenong, Victoria.

It is the second Silverado for Vrapcenjak, who also owns a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Premium.

“As we celebrate this milestone for GMSV, I would like to thank our remanufacture partner, Premoso, our dealer partners and our customers for their support across Australia and New Zealand,” GM Australia and New Zealand Jess Bala says.

“We are delighted that Joseph could join the team to celebrate this milestone and see his vehicle roll off the line at the GMSV facility.”

“I am just so excited to be getting my new Silverado! The fact that it is the ten thousandth vehicle is an awesome bonus,” Vrapcenjak says.

“My family and I cannot wait to hit the road with our BMX bikes, boat, and caravan to do all the ‘live big’ activities we love to do together. This truck makes it possible for us to bring all the accessories we need to spend our time outside together.”

General Motors Specialty Vehicles has remanufactured the Silverado range for four years in partnership with Premoso. The stand-alone GMSV facility is in Dandenong South and remanufactures 20 vehicles per day.
