Cupra Canberra wins Garage of the Year

Cupra Australia has celebrated its growing network, presenting its 2023 awards for Garage of the Year and Specialist of the Year to its highest performers.  

Nine Cupra Australia locations and 28 Specialists vied for the top spot. 

Cupra Canberra claimed the overall Garage of the Year award, while Cupra Perth Specialist Anthony Matteo was awarded Specialist of the Year for his passion, knowledge and commitment. 

In addition to the overall winners, each runner-up will claim a trip to Barcelona to immerse themselves in Catalonian culture and the spirit of Cupra.

Cupra Australia Director Ben Wilks said that garages and specialists are judged on their ability to look after customers, generate sales, and continue the growth story of Cupra in Australia.

“One year ago, we celebrated the launch of the Born EV in Cupra Canberra’s backyard, and since then, the team has consistently outperformed on all metrics,” said Wilks

“Over in Perth, our Specialist of the Year, Anthony Matteo, exemplified our goal of delivering the ‘Cupra difference’ to customers. Congratulations to Cupra Canberra and Anthony on being worthy recipients of our 2023 awards.”

Garage of the Year:

  • Multi-Site Winner – Cupra Artarmon 
  • Single-Site Winner – Cupra Canberra 
  • Overall Winner – Cupra Canberra

Specialist of the Year:

  • 1st Place – Anthony Matteo, Cupra Perth
  • 2nd Place – Shank Hariprasad, Cupra Richmond
  • 3rd Place – Joey Keawploy, Cupra Canberra
  • 4th Place – Thomas Procyk, Cupra Artarmon
