The Chery Holding Group has announced its sales for the year 2023 with December concluding at a monthly sales volume of 215,690 units.
The brand achieved 12 consecutive monthly increases in sales , reaching a record annual sales tally of 1,881,316 vehicles, and marking a year-on-year growth of 52.6%.
Annual exports of vehicles reached 937,148 units, representing an year-on-year increase of 101.1%, securing 21 consecutive years as China’s top passenger car exporter.
As a result, the Chery Holding Group’s global automotive user base has now exceeded 13 million, with 3.35 million users located in overseas markets.
Chery Australia sold 5890 units in 2023, having commenced operations in March with the launch of the Omoda 5 SUV, followed by the Tiggo 7 Pro SUV in October.
