General Motors has clarified Cadillac‘s lineup in Australia and Zealand will exclusively comprise EVs.
That’s in spite of suggestions some time ago the brand could offer ICE models in the Australian market, says GM Authority.
During the Cadillac Experience Centre Sydney announcement as its first permanent location and local point of sale, GM’s Australian subsidiary clarified the luxury brand is committed to an exclusive line of EVs in that country.
GM’s top representative in Australia and New Zealand told CarSales that the company has no plans to introduce any ICE (internal combustion engine) Cadillac vehicles in the region, says GM Authority, adding GM Australia and New Zealand managing director Jess Bala says the plan is for 100% EVs.
