An Australian variant of the BYD Yuan Plus is due to launch on BYD Australia’s website on February 20.
Full details, pricing, warranty, delivery timeline and the ability to pre-order will be available at evdirect.com.au, the company says.
A BYD Experience Centre is set to open in Sydney shortly, with further information to be announced.
EVDirect says it will have the Yuan Plus and ongoing BYD models available for test drives across the country, advising test drive locations and availability dates when possible.
Its allocation of BYD E6 and T3 models have sold out, noting that BYD plans to release up to six models during the next two years with any Australia-bound ones being noted on EVDirect’s website.
