Telco ASX listed company BSA Limited intends entering the EV charging market.
That would make BSA Australia’s only telco company servicing the EV sector, it says.
Co-chief executives Arno Becker and Richard Bartley say they want to help meet Australia’s growing demand for EVs and increase charging infrastructure to better serve those making the switch.
For 50 years, BSA has been known as the Australian-owned and operated company delivering fixed-line and wireless telco services and smart metering services to Australia’s household brands, including NBN, Foxtel and TPG.
Now BSA is strategically diversifying its offerings and branching out to the EV sector to meet the demand of EV charging stations and offer Australia premium EV chargers, saying it will install the charging stations in residential and commercial buildings and plans to expand into nationwide public EV charging station installations soon.
