Polestar hosts Australia’s first electric vehicle drive-in cinema event in Sydney from May 4-7.

The pop-up event in partnership with Mov’in Car showcases some of the latest Hollywood blockbusters on the rooftop of the Entertainment Quarter car park at Moore Park.

Moviegoers who drive pure electric vehicles from any brand will have exclusive access to the event, which marks Australia’s first EV drive-in cinema experience – complete with whisper-quiet battery generators powering the sessions.

The movies include Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre on May 4, Avatar 2: The Way of Water on May 5, The Super Mario Bros. Movie on May 6, and Dirty Dancing on May 7.

“Electrifying the drive-in was on the wish list, and thanks to Mov’in Car it has become a reality,” says Polestar Australia marketing head Jonathan Williams.

A range of snacks and drinks will also be available to purchase, including pizza and bottomless popcorn.

Gates open from 6pm with movies starting from 7.30pm, the event finishing about 11pm.

Tickets will be complimentary for Polestar 2 owners, with Sydney-based Polestar Australia having six Polestar Spaces retail sites. Click here to book tickets and for more information
