The Ateco Group has confirmed that the all-new LDV Mifa people mover will land in the Australian market in November.

“A people mover for the next generation, the all-new Mifa is set to shake up its segment thanks to its sleek exterior styling, latest safety and technology features, and room for every passenger to travel in comfort and style no matter how far the journey,” The Ateco Group says.

LDV general manager Dinesh Chinappa says the LDV Mifa is a glimpse into the future.

“Every new Mifa model will come with a significant level of standard safety equipment, convenient features, fuel-efficient powertrain and more for Australian families,” Chinnappa says

“While it might not share the heart of its electric sibling, the Mifa 9, it does share the fundamentals of evolutionary design, passenger comfort, safety and more. It has advanced the people mover game significantly and we’re looking forward to redefining the segment that has, until now, been dominated by two brands.

“With its bold face framed by daytime running lights, wide stance and distinctive LED rear light signature, the all-new Mifa redefines what people movers should look like,” he says.

Arriving this November in three different trim levels – Mode, Executive and Luxe – the Mifa is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine which delivers 160kW and 360Nm via a Aisin 8-speed automatic gearbox.

Depending on the variant, there is a choice of seven or eight luxurious seats including six-way electrically adjustable Captain’s Chairs in the first and second row which can be configured for ease of access, while footrests and fold-out tray tables allow passengers to travel in business class every day.

Safety continues to be a vital mainstay of every new LDV model and the new Mifa is no exception says The Ateco Group. It says all Mifa models come standard with front and rear Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Speed Assist System.

The Ateco Group says the full details of the all-new Mifa including specification, pricing and more will be communicated in mid-November.

“The imminent arrival of the all-new Mifa marks clear intent from LDV to offer a striking and luxurious people mover that continues to deliver on LDV’s long-standing commitment to safety and value-packed vehicles,” Chinnappa says.
